Lui + Rui was born from a heartfelt dream — to bring poetry, elegance, and artistry into the world of children’s couture. As a designer, I have always believed that magic should never be reserved only for adults. Children, with their pure hearts and boundless imagination, deserve a couture world crafted especially for them — one that celebrates innocence, wonder, and beauty in its most delicate form.

Designed by Alvin Oey, Lui + Rui embodies a vision where every piece feels like a chapter from a fairytale. Each creation begins with a hand-drawn sketch, interpreting the charm, purity, and unique personality of every child. From there, our artisans transform these sketches into garments shaped with meticulous craftsmanship, graceful silhouettes, and a touch of poetic storytelling.

I created Lui + Rui to honor the little moments that define childhood: the soft twirl of a dress on a birthday morning, the quiet confidence before stepping into a celebration, the unforgettable sparkle in their eyes when they wear something made just for them.
